WELCOME TO A NEW TASTE SENSATION!
We are a company based on the Sunrise Coast in Suffolk, offering fine Swedish food both locally through East Anglia and also nationwide via our website.
We specialise in a wonderful range of marinated herring plus other delicatessen items. A Taste of Sweden was established as a result of the proprietor spending many summers in Sweden at the family summer house on the Baltic Coast sampling the delicious produce of Sweden, after which she decided the experience was too good not to share!
Our Herring products come from Klädesholmen, a port in Sweden which has been involved with herring fishing and production since the 1500's. Klädesholmen Seafood have themselves been producing herrings for over 100 years.
We are particularly proud to introduce their fantastic Premium Range which are handcut and have sauces made to secret family recipes passed down from generation to generation. In addition, we have a wide selection of their standard range, so there is plenty to choose from. Also you don't need to think about the postage costs when ordering herring, as the same cost is for up to 20 kgs.
