WELCOME TO A NEW TASTE SENSATION!
We are a company based on the Sunrise Coast in Suffolk, offering fine Swedish food both locally through East Anglia and also nationwide via our website.
We specialise in a wonderful range of smoked salmon products, a wide selection of marinated herring and other delicatessen items. The company was established as a result of the proprietor spending many summers sampling the wonderful and individual fare produced by the varied smokehouses along the Baltic Coast in Sweden, after which she decided the experience was too good not to share!
Our chosen salmon producer is Vägga Rökeri on the Baltic Coast, who have been producing smoked salmon products for over 60 years. Since being introduced into the UK last year, their products have been widely acclaimed and have been featured in several periodicals, including "Hello" magazine online food section. Their Swedish salmon tastes different, firstly because it is smoked over Alderwood and Juniper,woods indigenous to Sweden and secondly because the smokehouse uses traditional Swedish recipes, coupled with care, pride and vast experience.
Our Herring products come from Klädesholmen, a port in Sweden which has been involved with herring fishing and production since the 1500's. Klädesholmen Seafood have themselves been producing herrings for over 100 years. We are particularly proud to introduce their handmade recipe which won the Swedish "Herring of the Year" competition in 2009, with fennel, dill and aquavit together with two other varieties from their luxury handmade line. In addition, we have nine of their standard range, so there is plenty to choose from. Also you don't need to think about the postage costs when ordering herring, as the same cost is for up to 20 kgs.

Due to problems with delivery by Royal Mail, we are now only delivering by Parcelforce 24 hr service in order to avoid disappointing our customers.
Consequently our delivery price will be £8.50 for all orders which includes a polystyrene cool box. As this rate encompasses up to 20 kg. this will be of particular benefit to those customers ordering herring! If you require only something small, eg one tube of Kalles caviar, please contact us by telephone and we will give you an alternative delivery method and cost.
